1968 Chevrolet Impala – Pro-Built 454ci Big Block & Frame-Off Restoration
Get ready to turn heads and shred tires in this jaw-dropping 1968 Chevrolet Impala. Benefiting from a meticulous, body-off restoration completed roughly 10 years ago, this classic cruiser perfectly blends timeless muscle car styling with serious, professionally built street performance.
Drivetrain & Performance
Engine: 454ci V8 professionally built by Boardman Engine.
Internal Specs: 11:1 compression ratio, Full Roller camshaft and rockers, closed-chamber heads.
Induction: 4-barrel 750 CFM carburetor with a manual choke.
Exhaust: Douglas headers running into a great-sounding exhaust system, equipped with electric cutouts to go from mild to wild at the flip of a switch.
Transmission: Built TH350 automatic transmission by Waterloo, paired with a 3,600 stall converter. It is an absolute blast to launch and rip down the road.
Rear End: 3.50 Strange engineering locking differential for maximum traction.
Body & Paint
Restoration: Comprehensive body-off, frame-off restoration with new seals installed throughout at the time of build (full restoration pictures included with sale).
Paint: Finished in a striking 2002 Corvette Torch Red (Base/Clear) that boasts a beautiful mirror shine.
Condition: Maintained as a enjoyed driver over the past decade; minor paint flaws are present from road use, but the car presents phenomenally well.
Extras: Factory fender side skirts are included with the sale (currently uninstalled and not color-matched).
Interior & Amenities
Cabin Condition: Stunning, refreshed interior featuring factory-correct seat covers, a new headliner, new door panels, and brand-new carpeting.
Gauges: All factory gauges work exactly as they should (with the exception of the clock).
Monitoring: Two aftermarket gauges are cleanly mounted under the dash to provide highly accurate real-time engine temperature and oil pressure readings.
Audio: Includes the factory 8-track player.
Climate Note: Please note that the heater core/heat is currently not hooked up.
