1969 Chevrolet Corvair 500

This 1969 Chevrolet Corvair 500 was acquired by the selling dealer after long term previous ownership. The car has received a comprehensive restoration of interior and engine completed in 2015 at the cost of $6k. It is powered by an air-cooled 164ci flat-six paired with a two-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes bright trim, chrome-finished bumpers, 13" wheels, pillarless side windows, and a factory Delco AM radio with FM adapter. This Corvair Monza is now showcased inside our showroom in Salem, OH and comes with a clean, actual mileage title .

The car was delivered new in XXX Paint (XX) and was refinished in the correct original color during comprehensive restoration under previous ownership. Features include pillarless side windows, bright rocker and wheel-arch trim, and chrome-finished bumpers.

Steel 13" wheels wearing wire wheel covers and are wrapped in 175/80R13 Firestone whitewall tires. A full-size spare tire is mounted in the engine compartment. The car features independent suspension at all four corners, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.

The front and rear bench seat are newly upholstered in Black vinyl with matching inserts. Features include a dash-mounted ignition switch and gear shifter selector as well as a push-button Delco AM radio with Aftermarket FM adapter, lap belts, headrests, and polished door sill trim. Close-up photos in the gallery show the newly reupholstered seats and restored interior components.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge with inset warning lights. The five-digit mechanical odometer indicates 29,350 miles and comes with title stating Actual Mileage.

The rear-mounted air-cooled 164ci flat-six features dual carburetors.
