This Beautifully restored, Show Ready, 1966 Volkswagen Beetle was acquired by our dealership as part of a collection from a local enthusiast that is moving to an assisted care facility. The vehicle has received a ground up restoration and is in magnificent condition inside and out. Original Sheet metal, correct floor pans, beautiful US-Spec "Towel Rail" Style chrome bumpers with over-riders, professional base coat clear coat paint job with mirror shine. The exterior features fender skirts, updated front turn signals (Original 66 style also included), fresh interior upgrades include installing a replacement headliner, Carpet and seat covers. The powertrain has been professionally refreshed in 2023 by Jim's Custom VW in Columbiana OH with an updated, completely rebuilt 1641cc Engine and 4-Speed manual transmission. Finished in a stunning merlot over black vinyl, it also features 15" steel wheels, drum brakes, a 12-volt electrical system and dual side-view mirrors. This Beetle is now offered with a clean Ohio title, Registration and 45 Day Temp in the seller’s name upon purchase.

The 15" steel wheels wear VW-stamped hubcaps and are mounted with Lee 165R15 86S tires. Stopping power is provided by drum brakes at all four corners.

Inside, the radio has been upgraded to a Retro style AM/FM Cassette and the front bucket seats, rear bench, door panels, carpeting and headliner were reupholstered in black vinyl under prior ownership.

The two-spoke steering wheel wears a chrome horn ring with a Wolfsburg center cap and frames a 90-mph VDO speedometer and fuel level gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 38k miles.

The replacement air-cooled flat-four was installed under prior ownership. The engine was removed, cleaned, and fitted with replacement engine tin, pushrod tubes, and seals. The electrical system has been converted to 12-volts.

This is a True, Turn-Key, Recently serviced and Ready to Drive Beetle that is ready for cruising and car shows. Everything on this vehicle is working as it should and is a blast to Drive!
